Andrea's 4th Birthday!

Andrea loves the Pinkalicious books by Victoria and Elizabeth Kann. In fact, I have read Pinkalicious to her so many times that she has it memorized word for word. So, for her birthday this year, she wanted a Pinkalicious cake. We also had a "Pinkalicious" dinner that night by eating everything that was pink. On the menu was pink pancakes with strawberry syrup, fresh strawberries, pink yogurt, and strawberry milk. As you can see, Andrea loved it!
Here's my big 4 year old with her cake.

Blowing out the candles.

Opening her presents. Surprise . . . it's Squinkies.

Andrea got the Pinkalicious book from Santa this past year, so we got her the other 3 books in the series for her birthday. We've already read them just about every day!

We also got her a Pinkalicious doll.

Modeling the Snow White dress from Grandma Linda. She loved it!

Enjoying her birthday cake and ice cream.

Easter Morning is Here!

Playing with the toys that the Easer Bunny left in the Easter baskets.Surprise! The Easter Bunny has been here!
Rylan got some toy dinosaurs.

Alexa got a Zoobles and an umbrella.

The three older kids all got umbrellas. The Easter Bunny was pretty brave getting the kids something that can brake so easily. Andrea's was broke by the next day!

Landon got some stretchy lizards and an umbrella.

Enjoying his lizards!

Andrea got some sunglasses and an umbrella.

A basket full of goodies!

Rylan loved Easter! He was shoving candy in his mouth just as fast as he could. I finally had to put his (and everyone else's) basket up out of his reach.

Easter Egg Hunts

This year, our kids went on three different Easter Egg hunts. One was at Grandma Kathy's house the day before Easter, one was at our house on Easter morning, and one was at Aunt Trina's house on Easter afternoon. Here is a picture of Grandma Linda with all (except Cameron) of her grandchildren on Easter Sunday. Here's Rylan and I at Aunt Trina's Easter egg hunt.
Beautiful Alexa is getting pretty darn good at this Easter egg hunt thing.

Here's Andrea finding the eggs that the Easter Bunny hid at our house. She's also sporting the sunglasses that were in her Easter basket.

Landon sure had a good time finding the eggs that Grandma Kathy hid in her yard!

Coloring Easter Eggs

Yeah, I'm finally getting aroung to posting Easter pictures! This year we colored eggs at Grandma Kathy's house. Here are some pictures of the kids enjoying the dying of eggs tradition.

Grandma's New Puppies

Grandma Kathy's Old English Bull Dogs had seven little puppies a couple of weeks ago. A few days before Easter, we went up to her house to see them. They were so tiny and cute. The kids were so excited and didn't want to leave when it was time to go home. Here are some pictures of the kids with the puppies.

Here's Rylan giving the puppy a kiss.

Andrea was surprisingly gentle. I was a little worried that she would smother the poor little thing!
Alexa is my animal lover and would have 15 different animals in the house if I let her. She was in all her glory surrounded by all these puppies.

Here's my little tough guy being as tender and gentle as can be.

Sick Little Boy!

Lant night, Rylan was running a high fever throughout the night. He is normally a pretty active little guy and so it was so sad to see him just laying still with flushed cheeks and bloodshot eyes. He seems to be feeling a little better this morning, but I'm still giving him a little extra TLC. I bundled him all up on the couch and brought him some books to look at. He looked so cute! He is the king around here! He even cheesed it really big when I took this picture of him. Hopefully, he will continue to get better and no one else in the family will come down with it.

My Awesome Husband!

March 29th was our 13th anniversary of the day Joe proposed to me. It was a very crazy day and I had forgotten about it. (I don't forget our wedding anniversary, though!) Well, that night when I went in to our bedroom to get ready for bed, there was a dozen red rozes laying on my pillow. Joe had bought them during the day and had sneaked them into our room without me noticing. What a romantic man! I love him so much and and so thankful that my answer was yes 13 years ago.
