Here's our little princess, Andrea: 4 years old

Here's my champ, Landon: 7 years old

Here's beautiful Alexa: 9 years oldAnd here's all of my little darlings.

Summerizing Summer

I'm still trying to play catch-up on the happenings of the Brownings' summer, so forgive my while I share a whole bunch of pictures of the fun things we did this summer. In July, we had the opportunity to go to Bear Lake with my side of the family. Here are some pictures of us having a great time on the beach with cousins.

Here's Alexa with her cousins Kailee and Megan.
Landon with his best bud in the whole wide world, Micah.

I had a great time too.!

Andrea and Brooke, the little beach princesses

Here's Rylan having a blast!

In fact, he had a little too much fun. He wore himself right out!

What a great day!

I took the kids to Splash Park only to find out that it was closed for maintenance reasons. They were really disappointed, so we took a ride on the nearby carousel to cheer them up. So here's some pictures of them in their unfortunately dry swimming suits riding their ponies.

Landon played soccer this summer and was on the Golden Eagle team. He had a good time and got lots of exercise but I think we have decided that soccer is not really his thing. He picked a lot of dandelions though!

Here's Landon kicking the ball when he was the goalie.

Playing the goalie again.

More pictures of the kids in that meadow of flowers that we found. Here is Joe with his two little buddies. These three men in my life are pretty special to me!

Camping and Feeding the Fish

We went camping up by Island Park this summer and found a meadow that had bunches of wild flowers. Here's Rylan picking some of the flowers. And Alexa is our little flower lover. She was in all her glory!
Breakfast in the camper.

Feeding the fish at Big Springs.

I thought this was pretty cute. All of the kids were enthralled with feeding the fish cracker crumbs. (Even though the fish were full and weren't interested in our crackers at all.)

Soccer and Summmer Camping

We bought a hammock this summer to enjoy while camping. This was the first time Joe attempted to hang it up. It was a lot higher before he tried it out. When he sat in it, it slowly sagged down to the ground. We were laughing pretty hard! Needless to say, he did fix it so we could all enjoy it and actually be off the ground. Roasting marshmallows!
Rylan loves smores!

Here's Alexa playing one of her soccer games. She the one with the untied shoes running for the ball.

Alexa is number 3 on the green and tan team. She did pretty good this year. She gets a little better each year.

Father's Day and the Circus

Here's a lucky father of 4 beautiful children on Father's Day! In June, we had the opportunity to go to the Circus with Aunt Tiffani and Cameron. Here are some pictures of all the kids enjoying some cotton candy while at the Circus. They don't get this treat very often, so they sure enjoy it when they do.

Some Events at the Beginning of our Summer

I have had a very busy summer, so I haven't updated this blog as often as I should have. Here are some happenings from our home that were from the beginning of the summer. I'll update you on the rest of the summer later.

Here's Andrea and Rylan being really cute on the back deck.

Here's Rylan at our city's annual parade.

At the parade, watching the heroes that rescued our family three years ago.

Landon at the parade

Andrea was putting more parade candy in her mouth than she was in her bag. Can you tell?

Alexa at the parade

Alexa took a tennis class this summer. She had never even held a tennis racket before these lessons and she got pretty good by the end of the two weeks. I was proud of her!

Here's our first campout of the summer. We just went about 10 minutes down the road from
our house just in case Rylan was just as much fun to take camping as he was last year. We wanted to be close to home so if Joe needed to take Rylan home at 4:30 in the morning like last year then it wasn't a far drive. He did much better, however, and we were able to enjoy many campouts this summer. Here's my psychopath husband enjoying his marshmallow. (And it appears that he is planning how he will attack us all while we sleep.)

Andrea can still be a cutie covered with smores.

Here's Alexa with a view of the campground behind her.

Good morning, campers! We are starting to get pretty cramped in our little camper, but we always have a good time.
