Welcome to the World, Lyndie!

 Early in the summer, we had our fifth child, Lyndie Marie.  Here are some pictures of her first moments of life.  Her hair has a tint of red in it.  She's so precious!

Landon's Special Day!

Because Landon just turned 8, he had the opportunity to be baptised.  Here are some pictures of him with his Daddy, who baptised him.

Landon and his cousin Micah were baptised on the same day at the same time in different towns, so they were unable to attend eachother's baptism.  Therefore, in honor of the two baptism boys, we got together for a family picnic afterward.

Cub Scouts!

Here's Landon on his first day of Cub Scouts.  He got his scout shirt and book for his birthday and was sure excited to begin going to scouts.  I can't believe he is old enough to do this!

Preschool Graduation

 For Andrea's preschool, I organized a group of mothers who were interested in rotating homes and taking turns teaching.  Both Andrea and I had a lot of fun and Rylan really loved it when preschool was held at our house so he could participate.  Graduation was held in our living room.

My big three year old is sure excited to open his presents!

Rylan loves dinosaurs so I made him a dinosaur cake. He thought it was pretty cool. He really liked that the candles were inside the volcano.

Rylan wanted a recorder so much because Andie and Landon both got one for their birthdays. Our house can be pretty loud now when all three of them decide to play.

Rylan got this inflatable shark for the pool this summer. He loved it so much! Unfortunately, after being jumped and played on for a couple of days by all the kids, it has a hole somewhere and won't stay inflated. He only got to use it once this summer in the pool for just a few seconds. He sat on it with a huge grin on his face and then it tipped and dumped him in the pool. He came up sputtering and crying and wanted nothing to do with the pool the rest of the summer.

A T- Rex! He acted surprised when he opened it but he actually had just seen it that morning when I was wrapping it. I was in my bedroom with the door locked thinking that I was well hidden, when I heard a muffled, excited voice from the crack under the door saying, "Is that my dinosaur?"

Landon's Birthday

Landon has always loved Halloween and scary things so even though his birthday is in May, I made a skeleton cake with ghosts on it.

As a family, we went to Leo's place to celebrate Landon and Rylan's birthday (their birthdays are back to back.) Trina and Tiffani and their families met us there. Here is Landon with his best friend and cousin, Micah.
