4th of July Weekend

For our Independence Day celebration this year, we went to my Mom's house and spend time with my siblings and their families. Here are some pictures of the fun we had with cousins doing fireworks and watching the parade.

Campout at Fall Creek (First one of the summer)

For our first campout this summer, we went up to Fall Creek by SwanValley. Overall, we had a good time, but that first night was probably one of the most miserable nights of my life. Rylan wanted to sleep in his own crib at home, and no matter what we did to try to get him to sleep in the camper, he refused. He screamed until 4:00AM, when Joe finally loaded him in the truck and took him home. They came back the next morning and Rylan was as happy as a clam
(but Joe and I were not because we were going on only a few hours of sleep.) Needless to say, Rylan has done better on subsequent campouts. I just can't believe we were willing to ever even try it again.

The Sand Dunes

Earlier this summer, we took a trip to the sand dunes in St. Anthony. This is a trip we take every year because the kids absolutely love it. It's just one GIANT sand box to them. And the best thing about it is it's FREE!

Uh-ohh. . . I got caught!

One of Rylan's favorite thing to do now is to unroll all the toilet paper. He's also recently learned how to open the toilet lid so he can splash in the toilet water. Needless to say, we try to keep the bathroom doors closed at all times. However, as you can see, it sometimes gets left open.

Rylan's First Birthday

For some reason, I decided to have three of my four children born in May. Therefore, we have a lot of cake this month and do plenty of partying. Rylan's birthday is just one day after Landon's birthday. (Crazy, I know.) This was his first birthday and he REALLY enjoyed diving into his cake!

Landon's Birthday

Landon's 6th birthday was on May 20th. He had an Alladin birthday party. Joe turned our living room into "the Cave of Wonders" where Landon and his friends watched Alladin on the big screen with the projector. He wanted to have a pajama party, so even though it was in the middle of the day, all the kids came in their pajamas. It was a lot of fun!

It's now September, and I'm just getting around to posting Andrea's birthday back on May 9th. Having all of my kids home for summer break really took its toll on me. I have a lot more time to myself now that Alexa and Landon are in school and Andie and Rylan take a nap at the same time. Anyway, I'm going to play catch up for a while so I don't have such a huge gap in the happenings of the Browning family. Andrea and her cousin Micah have the same birthday and it happened to be on Mother's day this year, so some of my sisters and my Mom all came to my house for one big party.
